Learn to Play is a program that provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice. Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.

Yes, however, we do recommend you enroll in a Learn to Skate Program prior to starting their Learn to Play Sessions.

No, the Learn to Play Program is designed to get you introduced into hockey and can only be completed one time. We have continuation programs that you will further their progress as a hockey player and eventually move on to join your rink’s local in-house programs.

You will need to attend one of our Equipment Fittings at our local hockey store to properly get fitted with the equipment and your child will take home their equipment that day.
